"All right then. Let's begin. Now there was debate about human rights. And whether they should be added or not. My answer is simple they should. I rather we have a tyrannical government stating what rights exist and that a country must adhere to them. Then a government that just watches people being opposed without the true state of freedom. And I'm not asking much. Just the right to free speech,freedom of religion,the right to a trial by jury, no discrimination on the government's behalf, right to an education, and etc."

OOC: A reason we also need to add this is also for OOC stuff as well. Such as breaking the rules of the forum. Or calling someone dumb. Etc.

"Look I just giving examples. But bear in mind it is still better than what was proposed before about not even mentioning them at all. All humans are born equal. And may I remind you of some wars that have happened in the past century. And what happened to them?!!?!"

Brighton stood up to talk. "Now in my country, we have an organized religion and I believe the freedom of religion may cause some trouble. Our religion has been around for centuries and we don't plan on changing it."

"We are not requiring you to change it. But if someone wants to practice something else then they should be able too. As a right every single human should have is to believe what they wish to believe. But I believe we skipped over that. And are now going for something that just says all citizens are equal and etc."

"Now we do have other people who follow other religions but the reason we have an established religion is because it was discovered and originated in Galatians. So what would have to be done about that?"

"I am not saying that you can't have a state religion. But you must allow other people to practice whatever religion they wish freely. Is what I am saying."

"I think it should be up to the prince if he wants to enforce a state religion or make it a choice it is his country"

Ronaldo was told in an email from Brander that the Prince was a great young politician and that he should make friends with him.

"But one thing every human should have is the ability to think on their own if they can. And like I said I gave a compromise. Which was vague and gave all humans equal rights in a sense."

Gelar sat listening to his fellow representatives discussing human rights. A thought occurred to him and he stood up. "Gentlemen," he began, "Let us move past which individual rights humanity is entitled too. I would like to pose a question: Suppose any nation disregards the rights settled upon here? What powers does this body have to enforce anything? Would we take it upon ourselves to punish those nations that deny these rights to their citizens?"

Gelar paused a moment, looking around the room. "I believe that if all nations gave their people these basic rights, then the world would be a much better place. But I also know that we must beware of how much power we grant ourselves."

"I believe the power we granted this organization is to make mandates, resolutions, and economic sanctions. And if we really wished. Until said nation fixes their rights. They shall not be able to participate within the GA and the DC. But they must respect all it resolutions that pass."

OOC:That is just for RP. But in OOC they could still do stuff.

IC: "That may work for those of us who endorse the Nations of the World. But what of those who practice a completely isolationist policy? We in the UCR are bordered by an empire who has no regard for world powers or human rights. You concede that we would have no authority over these nations?"

"You don't have any direct authority over the nation. But you could always bring up the issue to the DC, GA, or the WCJ. Also your nation could always conduct their own trade embargo! Or do things as long as it isn't war."

OOC: Unclaimed plots are considered disputed territory since no government has officially land claim to them. So no empire exists next to UCR. Just to let you know
