Amero Texan Space Station

Director Bill Nelson the director from Central Texas on the joint space board between the Amero Union and Central Texas. Landed in Guadalajara a city in the AU.



The board was formed from an agreement between the AU and CT over a year ago. Called the Joint Space agreement in it stated.
The space agencies of the Texan Space Authority and the Amero Space agency do agree on a cooperative effort to create a space station in earth orbit. And to work together on future missions of interest to both countries. To run this joint program a board of directors shall be created. One director from each country. With a chairmanship rotating between the two countries. The board shall make decisions on all things relating to the joint effort by a majority vote. Each government shall have the right to veto any mandate.

Nelson himself was previously the first Central Texan to get into orbit. This was accomplished before the wars started in the 1990s. That year was 1976. He was the pilot for the Shuttle. But he also helped the forging of the agreement. And even more so the Amero Texan Space Station. Which was approved by the board a few months before. He came to Guadalajara to witness the first module of the station launch. And to meet with the other board members on the proposed Lunar mission. Central Texas would launch the next craft within a few days of this one. Which is dubbed Explorer.

His airplane landed on the tarmac. He got out and went to his limo. Where he was told by a staff member were the other members of the board with a few AU officials.

The two people waiting in the limo were the AU member of the organization, Lisa McDonnell as well as the current chairman of the organization, Mike Trapper.

They both stuck out their hands and greeted the CT man.

"Hello colleges" said Nelson as he got into the limo and sat across from his AU counterparts.
"So I hope the weather shall be good for launch? Along with all the checklists green and go" he asked his colleges.

" Trapper looked up and said, " Same here Bill, we need some good news for a change" he chucked

Nelson chuckled as well. He hadn't seen them since the second board meeting a few months before in Dallas where they decided on the ATSS.

"Oh and the Shuttle Freedom is go to go when you guys launch. With unity and the PMAs 1 and 2. As well as our four astronauts. Who shall bring everything together."

" the two AU officials looked as if they were not too sure"

"Don't worry. Remember there are two from each of the best astronauts from each of our programs on it! But shall we just worry about this launch? I mean explorer does start it all. Oh and how long till we arrive at the space center?" he said since he saw the worried look of his friends.

Lisa smiled and then trapper did as well, " I would say another 10 minuets or so"

"Good. Man I never been this excited since my first flight in the 80s! So let's talk business President Howard asked me about when we would conduct a board meeting on the joint lunar mission and come up with a timeline."

Trapper looked and said, " We have been put on this council for the soul purpose to make this project a success" Trapper leaned over and looked out the window. " Looks like we are here everyone"

"Puts to shame Davis Space Center.......but if I may remind you Trapper the board was also created for future missions of interest to both countries. And both I believe are interesting in a lunar mission. Remember no one has yet set foot there. But as long as we are here. Let's go see the beauty that is Explorer!" Nelson said to his friend.
