A.U. Chairman Election

The time has come again, another six years is about to pass and that means the end of another term for the current chairman. Chairman Brander has been the Chairman for the last 12 years and is hoping to become the first ever three term Chairman in Amero History!.


The United States of Amero Union is a massive, devout nation, ruled by Chairman Brander III with an even hand, and notable for its sprawling nuclear power plants. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 1.086 billion are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is effectively ruled by the Department of Defence, with areas such as the Environment and Public Transport receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Amero square. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 25%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Retail and Book Publishing.

Televangelists flaunt their expensive cars when they attend charity events, a typical fast food menu item could serve a small army, the mining industry is making inroads into environmentally sensitive areas, and Church of Amero has been named as Amero Union's national religion. Crime is crippling. Amero Union's national animal is the eagle, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is Church of Amero, and its currency is the Amero.

Amero Union is ranked 8th in Nations of the World and 71,178th in the world for Largest Public Transport Department, scoring 8 on the Societal Mobility Rating.





As we enter Jimmy Brander's possible 13th year as chairman its important to realize just what we have become as a nation. Through excellent leadership and a formidable attitude we have become a powerhouse in the world economy. Although that is nothing new for our land, there is a long list of new accomplishments that have caused the nation to become a more balanced society. Those accomplishments are headlined by lenient political freedoms and exceptional civil rights. The nation has truly become a better place.

With Brander leading the Republican party yet again, the Democrats will have their work cut out for them. Their diamond in the rough: Kenneth Raines. The philanthropist and civil rights activist has created a following that looks to continue and improve on the social growth of this prominent nation. Brander has led this country to promise, but Raines may be the answer for tomorrow. Until that day comes, Brander captains the nation.
