The United States of Central Texas is a huge, cultured nation, remarkable for its sprawling nuclear power plants. Its compassionate, hard-working, intelligent population of 438 million enjoy a sensible mix of personal and economic freedoms, while the political process is open and the people's right to vote held sacrosanct.
It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Law & Order, with areas such as Religion & Spirituality and the Environment receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Houston. The average income tax rate is 47%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Information Technology, Tourism, and Automobile Manufacturing industries. Currently it's capital is Houston.
There are eleven states in Central Texas. Florida, Carolina , Virginia, Texas, Jefferson, Louisiana, New Oklahoma, Atlanta, West Georgia, Mississippi. The capital of Houston is in a federal district. Though for voting representation it is part of the State of Texas. Currently it has a bicameral legislature called the Texan Congress. It is divided into the Texan Council and the House of deputies. The Texan Council is the upper house with one Senator from each state. Currently it is ruled by the Conservative Party. Controlling eight seats. Then the lower house, the house of deputies. It is elected by a proportional representation party list elections. Currently there are a hundred deputies. Ties are broken by the Vice President. Currently controled by the Conservative Party with 78 seats. The President acts both as the head of state and the head of the government. The highest judicial authority is the Superior Court of the Federation.
